Talking about the restaurant industry in Mexico means talking about a wide variety of establishments offering food and beverages for every taste. However, very few can boast a 59-year history in the market, more than 50 business locations, and a presence in four countries. One of these success stories is Grupo Anderson’s.

This company has 15 different brands, including Porfirio’s, Ilios, Harry’s, Carlos & Charlies, La Vicenta, Nicoletta, Macario, among others.

Carlos Anderson, its founder, had a clear philosophy: “in our restaurants we don’t have customers, we have guests.” Under this premise, each of its businesses reflects service quality and makes diners feel at home, while also offering unique culinary experiences.

The success of each business location may seem simple because they are characterized by an excellent atmosphere, outstanding service, and an experience designed for each of the senses. However, all these characteristics come into play when the guest arrives. Before that moment, there is strategic work and planning designed to create genuine interest in visiting each location, made possible through the brand’s spectacular content, especially its photography and videos, which capture its essence and personality.

In addition, the company, which has won several international awards and recognitions, including The International Hotel & Property Awards for best restaurant worldwide, uses every digital and traditional marketing resource available to it, including SEO, SEM, Social Ads, Email Marketing, billboards, advertorials, and even sponsoring a professional soccer team (Cancún FC).

The Rival Following in Its Footsteps

Another undeniable success story in the restaurant industry is Grupo Rosanegra, which since its founding in 2017 has been following closely behind its nearest competitor.

The company, founded by entrepreneur Eduardo Beaven, has nine brands: Rosanegra, Tora, Taboo, Parole, Funky Geisha, Tantra, Chambao, Mamazzita, and Confessions.

Like Grupo Anderson’s, Grupo Rosanegra has also made efforts to take advantage of all the tools of traditional and digital marketing, although it has fallen behind.
